Balance shafts are used to minimise inherent engine vibrations.
Forged balance shafts offer several advantages:
- Superior material properties permit a filigree component design, emphasising again our motivation for modern lightweight construction.
- The bearing surfaces can be hardened so that the bearing elements run directly on the unmachined part. This reduces the installation space required.
We also rely on our automated press lines for the production of balance shafts.
