Why and what we train
We see targeted vocational training as an investment in our common future. We are aiming for a WIN-WIN situation by offering young people the opportunity to successfully complete vocational training while maintaining a professional perspective. In doing so, we realize our social responsibility and develop our employees of tomorrow.
We train the following training occupations.
Training content:
- Metalwork apprenticeship in the training workshop, covering drilling and milling, turning, grinding, filing and hammering
- Learn how to program CNC-controlled machines and read technical drawings
- Training in the manufacture of punching and forging tools, bending devices, and casting and injection moulds
Applications:
The tooling technician is mainly active in the toolmaking area,
being responsible for the assembly and disassembly of tools, construction of individual tool parts, general tool maintenance, and cooperation in quality control and measurement technology.
Duration:
3.5 years — a reduction with good performance is possible
Training content:
- Training workshop tuition in the areas of installation, electrical engineering, electronics, engine technology, electrical measuring technology and microprocessors-control
- Hands on experience in the assembly of electrical modules and controls
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems
Applications:
The industrial mechanic is mainly required on the production lines, possibly looking after both fully- and semi-automatic forging equipment. Responsibilities include machine monitoring and manufacturing of complex tools and fixtures.
Duration:
3.5 years — a reduction with good performance is possible
Training content:
- Tuition in the training workshop, covering manual and machine-based material processing
- Teaching the basics of electrical engineering and electronics
- Operations in the areas of toolmaking, production and maintenance
- Courses in pneumatics and control technology
Applications:
The industrial mechanic is mainly required on the production lines, possibly looking after both fully- and semi-automatic forging equipment. Responsibilities include machine monitoring and manufacturing of complex tools and fixtures.
Duration:

Training content:
- Learn basic skills in the operation of production equipment
- Development of knowledge for the adjustment, maintenance and changeover of modern machines
- Control of predictive material flows
- Possible further specialisation in metal or plastic technology
Applications:
The machine and plant operator is mainly active in the production area, being responsible for the changeover of production facilities, equipment operation, product fault diagnosis and product quality control.
Duration:
2 years

Our experienced team of instructors help you implement the content quickly and effectively. Our tariff-based reimbursement, together with the special travel benefit (100 €), help facilitate the start of your (professional) life.
In-house support over the entire training period is combined with factory instruction, team events, and workshops, which all help create the best atmosphere to help you settle in and progress.

- Confirmation of receipt for your application.
- First contact zum Bewerber (Allgemeine Rückfragen zur Bewerbung, Terminierung des Einstellungstests).
- Get to know each other in the Vorstellungsgespräch at our locations in Plettenberg or Roßwein (usually with an HR employee and the relevant department manager).
- Work shadowing (meet with future colleagues from the department and second interview, with a short presentation task if appropriate).
- Decision and contract handover.
- Start the induction process with a meeting day in the training workshop.

Dual study
As part of strategic succession planning, we offer, as required, the completion of dual study programs for either those with a commercial focus (Industrial Clerk - Bachelor of Arts Business Administration), or for those with a technical background (Industrial Mechanic - Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering). These programs are offered in cooperation with our regional colleges, such that the training takes place in parallel with the studies. Please contact us!
